A Guaranteed Safe and Sound Investment
  • Is your practice considering the purchase of a refurbished C-Arm?
  • Are you shopping in a range of $25,000 to $40,000?
  • Wary of Sellers and their price differences?
Let us SHOW you the CMC differences

Accumulations of used OEC 9000 & 9400 C-Arms vary in age from 1987 through 1994. Questions of how much use, proper maintenance, environmental conditions and many other variable factors become serious concerns for the refurbishment and redeployment of these 15-year-old machines. Happily however, when these machines are restored to top operating condition, they more than adequately resolve the position of a 25-gauge needle in a lateral view of the L5/S1 vertebrae. And their history of reliability supports the continuation of service for many years to come.

New paint will restore appearance but underneath, issues belying thousands of electrical and mechanical devices remain with the uncertainty of the years of use. Below are actual examples of hidden problems commonly found "latent" in machines, which were still operational when acquired from hospitals.

Hidden Electrical Corrosion Hidden Septic Contamination Overheating, Oxidation and Smoke

We can show these problems because every machine that we purchase for refurbishment is completely dismantled right down to the bare metal frame.

This is what we mean by Bare Metal Frame!

The various internal assemblies are then inspected, tested in OEC factory fixtures, any substandard parts are replaced, and OEC factory revisions are installed, followed by burn-in and then stocked to CMC's factory inventory.

Disassembly Bench Test for PCB's Reassembly

Our assembly process for a refurbished C-Arm is no different than our manufacturing process for production of new tables and monitors. Each new order draws components & parts from our inventories or those of our Distributor Partner, PartsSource, Inc. The reassembly image above shows our factory production floor with machines being reassembled from ground up!

No refurbished machine leaves our factory without thorough inspection, testing and calibration. Our process also includes extended operational burn-in at elevated temperatures to ensure the discovery of any latent defects that would not otherwise be immediately found when testing at office benign temperature.

Burn-in Room (120°)

Our job is not finished until we have installed your machine and trained your personnel during patient procedures. Once we certify your equipment with the respective State & Federal Authorities, our work is ensuring your complete satisfaction with the equipment's performance. Our equipment warranty provides "full coverage" with an uptime assurance guarantee. Even if you don't need us again soon, we'll be calling back in about (6) months to schedule a preventative maintenance check up.

We believe your purchase of a refurbished C-Arm should be just as sound as new; free of the risks associated with used equipment. Our 22 years of business experience in serving critical needs of the Medical Industry evidence's our appreciation for the impact of failed equipment, and it's devastating effect to both Doctor and Patient.

Remember: not all refurbished C-Arms are the same! New paint and new parts will all contribute to the appearance and performance of a 15-year-old machine. But like new tires on a used car, there is no assurance of reliably predicting the useful life remaining under the hood! If you're shopping for a C-Arm in the lower price range, it's more likened to buying a used car. If you're looking for the best value, ask to see a comparison of what we've shown you here before you assume that price and quality are equal. By the way, our pricing at CMC is not the highest, but we would be willing to bet our quality and value proposition is greatest for your investment.

Consider Computron Medical Corporation when you are in the market for imaging equipment. At CMC we understand your business and your needs to efficiently produce revenue.
